Greg/Clive Drabbles

Aug 15, 2008 19:43

Just another post to test LJ out; this time, I'm fiddling with the cuts. As payment for having this show up on your friends page, Isky (since you're my only friend xD), I'll be sticking up those drabbles that had Mr. Proops in them. Hope you like!

Three in total )

First of all *squeeeee* Greg/Clive drabbles, second of all *squeee* Greg/Clive drabbles that only I can see *maniacal laughter* third of all *squeee* Greg/Clive drabbles...oh wait I did that already! ;)

These are all just SO good, I loved each and every moment of each and every one, and STRONGLY recommend that you post them on the comm - there's a burgeoning G/C contingent over there, and that combined with just how well written these are, will definitely get you some comments!

I think you really should continue the first one if you're moved to do so - you can't leave me hanging like that - why does Clive hate Christmas, why the black eyes (plural, which pleased me in a sadistic way!) and most important of all, do they have festive sex involving santa hats and eggnog?!

He was desperate to forget the godforsaken-god-endorsed, if he had to be honest-holiday, THIS, ma'am, if a fabulous phrase - I think you have a really pleasing turn of phrase thruout all of them actually, really grabs me and makes me pay attention (as if I wouldn't ( ... )

I fear that you've given my little drabbles better a better review than the ones I've given you xD That's unacceptable! I'm going to have to really step up my game when I start reading your one-shots. And, as someone who's read at least a bit of your Greg/Clive (if you know what I mean ;D), I must insist that mine would have come out half as hot as yours if I would have continued it xD

Hmmm... festive sex? With Santa hats? And eggnog? And I'm glad you like the way I write; I've been told it's too abrupt and my sentences are too twisty for polite society xD

Strangely enough, though, that's exactly why I wrote the second one. Clive always looked so out of place there, and I always found it so uncomfortable watching the last season because of the studio xD I was imagining that it was Greg's last, or the last recording there, and Clive would be going back to England and Greg was pissed and Clive was miserable and both of them wanted to say something but couldn't ( ... )

It's been a while - sorry, I've been at my parents for a week (after seeing Greg at the Comedy Store TWICE *dies*) and sans net for the most part, so I'm endevouring to catch up now.

Well thank you for the compliment on my Greg/Clive hotness - I think I know the few fics you must have read to read that conclusion *blush*

I do indeed like the way you write - using abrupt sentences is simlpy a certain style, natch, and one that I think fits particularly well with the angsty, sharp feel of these drabbles.

We are OBVIOUSLY on the same wave-length, which pleases me immensely - I forsee discussions of Greg/Clive WL moments in the future...do you IM at all? I'm on yahoo as iskyisk, or MSN as slashgal@hotmail.com if you fancy adding me *grin*
I was imagining that it was Greg's last, or the last recording there, and Clive would be going back to England and Greg was pissed and Clive was miserable and both of them wanted to say something but couldn't-- waa! :( I'd love to read a continuation of that idea. Matter of fact: shameless self plug ( ... )

.....I can't believe this. Just as I was getting ready to put them up, MSWord crapped out on me.

And didn't autosave.

These three are the only ones that remain... I'll have to write seven more so I don't feel like a Greg/Clive fanatic when I put them up. But... wait. I am a Greg/Clive fanatic xD

I'll write seven more Greg/Clive ones, then! Ta-dah! This could be a good thing!
