I hope this victory isn't short lived, but the squirrels can't into the soffit right now. Last summer we closed off 2 spots where birds got in and just nested right at that spot. Then the squirrels got in and run all around the soffit which goes half way around the roof. They kindly made 2 more holes, one bypassing one of the closures. Well, ( Read more... )

Today was the yacht club's annual frostbiting regatta and chili contest. I raced last year but this morning I just could not get up early enough to go down and race. The weather wasn't that bad, about 45-50 ish, but very little wind. My friends Eric and Gary won today. I sail with both regularly, so its cool to see them win ( Read more... )
