I kinda miss just listening to beautiful music all the time, instead of all this rough hip hop. I think I started to feel like all the beautiful songs were essentially the same, and hip hop is so broad and versatile, not to mention experimental. Still, I miss the pretty stuff.

this is why I have found myself largely leaning towards a more rock based vibe than the hip hop because i find the lyrics to be more poetic and less combative, these days. Either that or England has just mellowed out my taste with all their indie rock.
