Okay, quick question: HOW THE HECK OLD IS SYLAR SUPPOSED TO BE!?!?!? I mean, come on! 1980? That was, like, 29 years ago, baby Sylar looked pretty old, and I am *not* willing to accept that he's over 35. What are these writers smoking these days? Yes, I spent 80% of the episode trying to figure out how old Sylar is. Yes, I know how sad that is.
I saw that and thought "I wasn't even born yet!" To me, the kid looked about 6 which would fit into your 35 year old range. Much older than that and he probably wouldn't be driving his little car around so contentedly.
I was more concerned with why he didn't remember any of it before, if he was so old when he was adopted. Come on, you're 6! You must remember something of your parents! At least enough to know that they're not Arthur and Angela.
He had to be 4 or younger, any older and I'm sure he would have remembered the day his daddy sold him. He seemed to believe he was the son of a man that made watches and a woman that collected snow globes for the majority of his life. So he'd be about 31 now.
OMG! I love you so much right now. I laughed so hard at this review. It was just GREAT!
When HRG said the crap about Matt's senses being sensitive when he's using his power, I thought, OMG! THE WRITERS OF HEROES READ egoteprovoco REVIEWS!!!! Because you've stated over and over that they've needed to make Matt stupid because otherwise he'd be too powerful. So taking your advice, they gave him a weakness - one we just happened to miss for three straight seasons
( ... )
They do seem to be working towards making the most powerful characters a little more manageable. So far it looks like Sylar's weakness is that he has grown a conscience.
As for Sylar...even though he always needed to expose the brain, he didn't necessarily have to do it the slice-across-the-forehead way. I think the way his mother died influenced the *style* not the act...if that makes sense.
Yeah, I see what you are saying, but where else would he cut? We don't know how much of the brains he needs to see. And that still doesn't explain why his father would use that method. I'm sorry, that was just bad writing in an attempt to be clever.
You win! Sylar's dad didn't really kill his mom, he just brought her a slice of pie from the diner. Carry out. Then, she was upset, so she accidentally fell on it. Got some smeared right on her forehead.
I was stunned at the sudden competence displayed by Peter and Matt. Unfortunately it was done with Peter's usual impatient MO, I mean can the guy sit still for two seconds and MAKE A PLAN for once? Yeah sneaking in to the place was great, but forcing the workers to I don't know, do that display the same image on the security cameras thing, or cut the power to the alarms or something more that would help aid their escape would've been good too. Matt's weakness is lamely executed here. Perhaps if there had been hints towards it before, but alas it was a last second "uh ohs, theyz too powerful!" rewrite. They need to give Sylar a weakness like that too. Perhaps he will be unable to use his powers if High School Musical is playing
( ... )
Why would he need a license to buy a train ticket? I'm pretty sure I've done that without one...but I've only been on commuter rail, so maybe that's different. I confess to much ignorance about trains.
I think that Nathan does want Peter locked up - just not dead. No idea why he told them about Claire, though. If nothing else, you'd think he'd worry about his close relationship to two mutants casting doubt on his own status.

Lots of people fall on pie at diners. No big deal.
