Totally agree with this! Sylar new story arch is getting ridiculous. He needs a cap. I liked that Peter could be his equal and now he has none. Need a balance here people. Also someone needs to take Nathan out back and smack him upside the head a few times. He starts out with the best of intentions then something in his brain re wires it.
Just curious, but was it only me who thought Claire's hair was different from the last episode?
I feel bad for Nathan. He's torn between the desire to accomplish big, important things and some strange self-esteem issues. Once Peter shows up and they're happy brothers again they'll work something out together.
Interesting theory that Millie could be Angela's sister. That would make her inclusion a little bit more important.
I, and my boyfriend, agree with your assessment of the Danko/Sylar partnership. My POV is that Noah suggested to the "one of us, one of them" partnership and Danko disagreed. Why the about-face? I chalk this up to Jeph Loeb whose name was in the credits and who was probably the one created all the errors and inconsistencies from last volume. He's been known to do these type of things in the comics.
Also, Nathan was quite handsome when he was smiling.
Millie has to come back - she's Swoosie Kurtz. Not someone you'd introduce just to steal an umbrella.
I know! Is Danko a petulant teenager? Daddy HRG says that he should get a mutant partner. So, he says no and storms off...then gets a mutant partner anyway. ...Cause it's totally better when it's his own idea.
I thought Peter's god speech was a little unnecessary. Considering I just watched Dogma for the first time last night, I kind of lol'ed though. :) I can't wait to see who Angela's sister is. A part of me wants it to be someone we've seen before, but I have a feeling it'll be a "well-known" tv star of some sort, and just have a one episode cameo.
This episode was confusing! I had to watch it twice to make sure I caught everything, haha. I was confused as to why shape shifting looks so painful here, but that girl in season one, who worked for HRG and the company, could do it so effortlessly, and without having to touch anyone.
And I honestly didn't think about Claire participating in the drinking contest. I suppose it all makes sense now. It was comedic relief. I was worried she was going to make out with the guy or something, haha.
I think that was sort of suggested with the guy saying "Well what did you have in mind???" in a sleazy tone. But seriously, the guy was 22 shots deep in Tequila. He probably didn't even know exactly what she looked like. If you can see straight after 22 shots of tequila, you are a mightier drinker than I, that's for sure.
(Or maybe he has to have sex with his empathy target. Wouldn't that make for an awesome show!) agreed
i know im completly biased when i say the more powers and the more i get to see Sylar the better, but i dont understand how it is getting a wee bit over the top but i dont care those shots in the rain set me for the week
i thinkt they're are finally going to let us like nathan again, we finally saw the better side of him this episode whether he was drunk or not most of the time, but him fixing the whole the before the season is over (which im sure he will) will make us on his side again
im excited about whos going to play Angela'S sister
Sylar is awesome and I always enjoy watching his scenes...I just worry about what all that power is going to do to the overall story. Omnipotent characters are a bitch. Even Superman has his kryptonite.
yeah definetly and im not too sure what direction they're going in with him if they are going to do something so he's stalled for a bit or not, as long as its not like in season 2 where they wiped out all his powers until like the last episode im good
God, I thought I was going nuts. So, I am not the only one who felt that sexual energy between Nathan and Claire. It was amazing. I was never a fan of Nathan but he did look incredibly hot in this episode, and did you notice that he had a freshly pressed suit in the morning?
Sylar... I do not like where they are going with him. He should have fought Danko instead of teaming up with him. What is the fun of getting all powers?
Make Peter powerful again. And hello, Millie is Angela's sister, it was clear from the dialogue in the restaurant, plus look very much alike - the nose, the eyes.
His suit was fresh, he had shaved...looked way too good for a guy who had passed out drunk the night before and was staying in a crappy motel without any luggage.

Good point about Claire. On what planet would that guy not have been hitting on her?
