The thing that made me the maddest was Peter blowing off Angela's concern about Nathan. It felt like none of the poor man's family cares that much about him anymore.

Also Peter's mini ego trip and brain fart in regard to not knowing a deaf person when he sees one was upsetting as well. he was a nurse and is an EMT he really should know about things like that at least somewhat.

My review was short too and I just finished the episode.

Peter is being more like Sylar than Sylar/Nathan is lately. He's desperate for mommy's undivided attention.

I know and most everyone I know is praising Peter for doing that, but he just came off like a big brat to me.

I'm glad someone else saw it the way I did.

what I dislike most (beside Peter absorbing Emma's power as you wrote) is that, like in the past, we're not supposed to remember anything from past season, expecially s2 and s3.
They made the power manifesting during the eclipses, and, as much I didn't like it, they can't simply remove it! or the Hunger for ZQ's character. or everything else that was in those 2 seasons... like: at the end of volume 4 fake!Nathan told Angela and HRG that the President agreed and gave them money to restart the Company, but when we came back, Emo!HRG is unemployed...

My best guess is that the Heroes writers' room doubles as a meth lab. They only write crazy.
