I was wondering how the same batch of formula would allow them to pick who got what superpowers?

Do Daphne's powers make any sense at all? They allow a cripple to walk and now, she evidently has the powers of Wally West/The Flash and she's able to transfer speed to other people.

I know! They talked like they would only be handing out good powers, but all they do is inject the same thing into anyone. How could they know that army guy won't get Maya's crappy power?

When it comes right down to it, I'm not sure *anyone's* powers really make sense. I mean, Nathan can fly at supersonic speeds without even rumpling his clothes, and crash into Haitian warlords without braking any bones. Tracy can freeze a glass while Nathan's holding it without making his hand cold.

Speaking of the Haitian, how do you like his new blackout power? He can touch people and they automatically lose consciousness? How many powers does he have?

I don't think the Haitian's power is too much of a stretch. It fits pretty well with the whole memory-wiping thing. If you erase the right brain function, unconsciousness probably results.

Really, I think Matt's is worse. From reading minds to being able to create all kinds of illusions?

I don't think Heroes is terribly scientific. Their catalyst is a nifty gold light. Since Arthur didn't pass on the light to anyone, it looks like the catalyst has ceased to exist.

Rofl. Your review cracked me up. I also thoroughly enjoyed this episode. One of the best of season 3 and Sylar was SO funny. I have already forgiven him for killing Elle (Even though I'm a shipper) cause he brought a lot of lightheartedness with him this episode. Loved it ( ... )

I hope they don't kill off Angela. She's, like, the last remaining member of the older generation. She's a pretty fun character.

Yeah, I love Angela. Such an uberbitch. I'd hate to see her go. Plus: there are too little old people on tv. I like old people on tv. But they always end up dead.

I think the conclusion I will draw from the formula, catalyst etc is:

Works fine when given to infants.
Turns grown men into psycho superstrong monsters.

So your army of superpowered people will have to wait 16 years. I suggest finding the nearest orphanage, shelling out a lot of money, and letting Mohinder go to work.

And Snarky-Killer!Sylar is back. That gives me hope that maybe this is the turning point episode and things get better from here. Right? Right?!

I am definitely optimistic. Especially since they got what's his name back from Pushing Daisies. (Although I mourn the loss of Pushing Daisies, maybe he can fix the story/character development problems on Heroes)

I love that Sylar is snarky and insane again! It's like reuniting with a (evil, creepy) best friend after thinking you'd lost him forever.

Is it too early to dance a jig around Arthur's body and sing "Ding Dong the Witch Is Dead?"

I think it's confirmed... the bullet must have destroyed the brain part that allows for regeneration.
Arthur's character is grayed out on the Heroes wiki and it says Sylar killed him "permanently."
