I think Sylar's focus on Claire was his way of getting back Noah especially. Noah made Sylar a monster, so Sylar wants to pay him back by doing the same to Claire, thus having her choose between Angela's and Noah's life. Apparently Claire didn't want to play that game though.
And can we have another appearance/mention from Claude? Because mentioning him as having taken down her brother in the alley way and that being the first mention in over a year?
See, I was thinking of Claude when you said all the old-school heroes are dead. There's Claude! Maybe he's Sylar's daddy. Of course, being dead NOW doesn't preclude siring a child however many years ago, but it does tend to dampen the drama. (At first, I typed "kill the drama", but then I thought, "well, it IS a show with time travel".)
Possibly ingested. Or if getting into blood via broken skin is enough (and well, heck, it's enough for us to contract nasty diseases and stuff, so why not?), then it could've been from the fact that he had a big nasty wound on that side of his face.
Man, you totally had the same thoughts on some stuff like me when I watched it - when Sylar started speaking of hunting and monsters and stuff I heard SAW in my head. And then Nathan... my FIRST thought in the scene at the end was SENATOR KELLY! Just that the actual Kelly really had no powers. And does this bring us back to the future that we once averted, where "mutants" were imprisoned?
"Senator Kelly Petrelli instructs the President that mutants have to be rounded up and put in camps. Ooh, Magneto is going to be so pissed. Seriously. Do we have to steal plot lines directly from X-Men? What next? Claire acquires claws and an adamantium skeleton to go with her healing factor? ...Sorry. I just got distracted by the idea of Claire-as-Wolverine. Far too amusing. She can drink lots of beer and call everyone "bub." It'll be awesome. She's already bad-tempered and small. If only she were hairier." that was great. I though the exact same thing. And Clair-as-Wolverine LMAO... and have your seen her eyebrows she's plenty hairy.

I really enjoyed tonight's episode! I didn't think I'd ever get to say that again about Heroes. I'm excited!
When does the next volume start? After the holidays, or not until next fall?
ETA: It's not just copying X-Men, it's copying The 4400, which copied X-Men. We even got some Kyle in this episode!
