I find all that stuff fascinating as well... I thought about sending that article to my mom, but frankly, I just don't need to have that debate with her again. lol Anyway, it is pretty interesting how the world seems to finally be pulling its head out of its arse concerning christianity, or at least taking a more open-minded approach.

i find it exciting that items like this are being made public and available. it's amazing to also see how much history is pigeon-holed into a few interpretations that most everybody buys and truly believes. christianity is great example of some how some beliefs can become the 'ruling' ones.
how do you think your mom would have responded?

Just realized I never answered this. My mom would have thrown every argument at me that she could think of, as to why it's wrong, or invalid, or faked, and why "traditional" christianity is the only right, and if I don't accept it, I'm going to hell, blah blah blah. And then when she ran out of arguments, and had every one of them logically disproven, she would have started the entire cycle over again, trotting out the exact same arugments. She's one of those people who clings to her religion without any reasoning whatsoever, and refuses to see what's right in front of her eyes, if it's something she doesn't happen to agree with. She'd swear the sun rose in the west, if it was in the King James version. :P
