Very sorry to hear that, I knew Padme and can relate to your lose...
Please don't hold yourself guilty about the test - I am no cat vet but I can guess that whatever brought her to her sad death was not emotional.
Try to focus on your upcoming test as much as possible, or do something else which will at least cheer you up and help you relax. I had a huge moed B today and spent yesterday horseback riding , shopping and yelling at my bank manager. all very relaxing, in no particular order.

By the way, a (slightly less spectacular than intended at first) birthday present is on its way, for I couldn't get by the real thing.. Anyway, within now and a couple of days you should take a peek in what your local postman brings (dum-dum-dum)...
