After 25 years as a roleplayer I feel like I might be at the end of the road. I just don't have the confidence to do it anymore. Take a break. You don't have to stop, just take a break. Have those same people (If you enjoy your time with them) go to the movies with you. Have a mmovie-a-thon, or have one of them run a game session every two weeks.

Burn out sucks, but that sounds like exactly what you're going through. Vacations, even from hobbies, are good for all of us.

I can relate, egyptian. And I'll second the "taking a break" advice, because gaming should, after all, be fun for you.

I'd just add a suggestion that my counselor gave to me recently: go try different things you haven't tried before just to find some new things you like doing. That might help with the interests issue. I know how easy it is to get into the mindset that "GAMER" defines who you are.
