Tropical Storm Ivan

Well, it's just about three hours until we're hit by Hurricane/Tropical Storm Ivan. The cable's already broken down and I can't find the flashlight. Meh. *hides under bed*

Just wanted to say I hope you're alright, and it doesn't do any damage to you or anything near you! I've never been in a hurricane, but I've been watching the news about it and just wanted to send you some warm happy thoughts for when you're hiding under the bed. *grin*

Hope you're doing okay. The closest to a hurricane I've been in is the edge of a tropical cyclone and that was bad enough. Post as soon as you can so we know you're okay. *hug* --Louise

Well, we survived! Thanks for the kind sentiments. Actually, I've never experienced a hurricane either...we haven't been hit in decades, which is why the country's gotten so complacent. The last one I remember clearly was about eleven years ago - it was on a direct path to us then it passed between Trinidad and Tobago, which is like a distance of ten miles or something. lol. Such is life in this strange little country. :D

Aw, thank you so much! We haven't been hit by one for so long, and this one just came out of the blue, so we were really unprepared for it. That was the scary thing. But we're okay, and we've got about eight flashlights now, so I've got no excuse to hide under the bed next time around. lol :D
