Yukari is one of the more popular girls at her school, and for good reason. She is "popular" because she is pretty and trendy and smart. She is popular because she is kind and caring and thoughtful. Yukari isn’t so different from the average teenage girl who had to fight evil shadows for her life and the lives of her friends-
Well, maybe that has affected her more than she would like to admit, but she tries to be normal, at least.
And Yukari is normal for the most part. She is female; she likes cute things, likes flowers, likes pink. She is outgoing, fond of being active (she is in the Archery Club, after all), and would prefer to do, not just talk about it. In this way, Yukari is always ready to default to action if something needs to be done or if something doesn’t strike her as quite right. She hates feeling helpless like nothing else, so if there is something she is capable of doing, she will do it. And with the strong sense of justice and right and wrong that she possesses, if something seems wrong to her, she will comment on it and perhaps try to do something if it doesn’t seem like anything else will be done.
Yukari’s best and worst traits come of her strong independence. While she knows when to step down and follow orders, she might resent it at times, and when given the opportunity to make her own decisions, she will always take it, even if it leads to unfortunate, negative consequences (such as the trip to a less than savory part of town late at night). Through her independence, however, she is also a strong person, not afraid to make decisions for herself and not at all afraid to speak her mind.
Of course, because of this, she’s very determined and, well, can be hard-headed. It would take someone or something confronting her, at times, to snap her out of something when she is set on it, and when she is angry she will be snappish or unwilling to listen. With some time and introspection, however, she does have the ability to cope with nearly anything, and she is capable of realizing when she is wrong…with some time to think things over, and often through thinking of her father. Through this, it is clear that she is very reactive to things; despite her best efforts at times to not be normal, at least emotionally, she does react to things emotionally; she wishes often that she could be stronger that way. She is a little paradoxical that way, yes, and sometimes does not know precisely what it is she expects from herself. She has gotten better about that, through growing to understand herself and other people better, and coming to accept most things about herself. she leveled up
Of course, her negative traits haven’t disappeared completely. She can be jealous, jumps to conclusions often and, sometimes, acts as a tsundere as well, refusing to give compliments and reverting more easily to dishing out insults (particularly where Stupei I mean Junpei is concerned). She can also be distant, particularly to people she does not know well.
But when it comes down to it, Yukari is a kind, compassionate individual, happy to extend a helping hand whenever someone might need one. She has a good sense of humor, and is fond of teasing people she knows better. She is generally cheerful, and recovers quickly. She can be the voice of reason, bringing up things that other might overlook, simply through her concern. She is, at base, a teenage girl with a good head on her shoulders, mature and making her way as best she can.
[Specialties/Abilities]
Like all Persona 3 kids, Yukari summons her psyche in the form of an Egyptian goddess (Isis) via shooting herself in the head with a fake gun. It is important to note that, while she is used to it by the point she arrives in Somarium, she was the member of SEES to have the most trouble shooting herself in the head can’t imagine why and the one to display the most hesitation in summoning her Persona. She has improved, however, and it generally correlates to how confident she is feeling at the time.
Her Persona is strong against wind magic, weak to electricity, and particularly capable when it comes to healing spells, though its magic attacks (also wind) do pack a punch.
Other than that, Yukari is capable with bow and arrow, having, even beyond Archery Club, been using bow and arrow to kill nightmare shadow creatures for almost a year.
In other news, her ability to come up with insulting nicknames is definitely a talent.

She's a teenage girl, so she definitely doesn't mind the right kind of affection. Female friends will get hugs and she will allow hugs, amongst other, usual things. Males...well. At the right time, and if she likes you? Go for it. Otherwise? There will be a footstomp coming your way, because she can be very, very tsundere.
[Fighting]
She's capable of fighting, of course, but entirely human. And she dislikes to fight, though I do not doubt she'll get herself into some sticky situations. If it gets to being a fight, please feel free to contact me through any of the methods outlined in that entry, particularly for injury or death.
