The weirdest thing...

Was just checking my online credit card statement, and there was a $1.37 credit from MACYS EAST 0129 on Thursday, October 21.

Which wouldn't normally bother me, except I wasn't in a Macy's on October 21, or anywhere else on the 21st, or any Macy's in months ( Read more... )

Same here. I found this article online:

Appears this is a common spot for stolen accounts to be used? People are so ridiculous. Canceled my card and I'm good now. Hope it worked for you!

I had a charge from this store back in July or August, but it got removed by Macy's w/o me doing anything because some info didn't match up. Well I just looked today and I had 3 more charges there all an hour apart from each other, at the same store on 12/29. I have emailed both 5/3 (odd that both of us had it happen with the same bank/card) and Macy's hopefully we can get this resolved.

This happened to me today, finally I remembered that I wanted to purchase a shirt online from Macy's but they didn't have it in stock so after more than 3 months they are about to send it and are charging me for it.

I found your article by searcing on "Pending MACY*S EAST #0129" which appeared on my credit card account. I am in the Air Force and have been deployed over seas for more than a year, I certainly have never set foot in any Macy's. They charged more than $1,000 to my card at this store, Radio Shack, and Sears.com. I'm trying to contact my bank now, but they are closed until Monday. Looks like I'm about to start my battle.

Damn! Well, thank you for your service, and give your credit card company he'll.

I just have had a call today from Macy's store # 0129 telling me there were charges on my credit card and asked if I had purchased anything on line from them for a total of 600.oo . I had not so Macy's is dropping the charges but suggested I cancel my card and get new. problem is today is Sunday and I fear a lot could be charged today.
