Whoda thunk hubby had a name :) It took me a few times past the name to realize who that was!

I gave up on finishing rebuilding my old bicycle, so I bought one yesterday. REI was having a sale and I could pick one up for a price I could afford and still be a bicycle I wanted to ride. I had a friend drop me off and I rode the bicycle back home. About 5 miles in 25 minutes, so the 8 mile each way commute should be in the 40 minute range. I moved my rack, bottle cages and seat post bag over and finished tweaking the setup.

Congrats on getting more confident and losing the death grip. Next you can work on riding with NO hands!! Or be able to ride with one hand while looking over your shoulder for traffic and stay on a line (not veer as you look).
