It's scary to think of this, but almost my entire life at the present is the effect of meeting one person. And I have no idea where this person is anymore, what they are doing, and if they even remember me. But it's frightening to think of the overall consequence of their meeting me

I don't have very many LJ friends because I don't know anyone's screenname.
Some of my students asked me what my LJ name is and I was like, "HELL no!!!"
But they found me on facebook, so I keep that as impersonal as possible.
