Need advise have surgery scheduled in the am these are my two options surgery tomorrow at 10 am

I would do neither. Just cancel. Surgery is not the answer in case of EDS, unless its an immediate tear that needs repair. A while back, I was planning an elbow surgery myself, but was advised against it on this forum, and glad I was. Acupuncture + physical therapy+learning to avoid certain movements did the trick.
BTW, for the first case, there is no need to cut anything. The same effect can be reached with simple injection numbing these nerves.

Got to agree with this. My wrists constantly sprained when I was younger, even while I slept and I used to have to brace them before I did anything. Now I'm older (44) they sprain less and I got really good at being very conservative in my movements.

Both of these options you've been given sound way too heavy handed for my own choices. But I can appreciate that being in so much pain you'd pretty much do anything to improve things. I have no idea how old you are, but please don't be coerced into drastic surgery by the chop happy orthopedic surgeons.
