Ok, so Victoria is, apparently, auditioning for a spot on the new Fox show "MOST VIOLENT WEATHER EVER" because last night we had wind that was gusting so hard it actually made my apartment building sway. And I'm not in one of those delicate, tall swan-like buildings. I'm in a hausfrau apartment complex that's short, squat and rather sturdy. Until

SHRIEEEEEE! HUSKY PUPPY IN FRIDGE!!!

And I think that Io and Cleo (my sister's cat, who is still at my parents' house) may have been communicating long distance last night. Cleo was howling last night as well. It's an awful, hollow, sonorous wail and she just sits upstairs and howls for about five minutes, occasionally waiting for a response. And she does this at 2 am. Every time she does it, it sounds like she's caught in something or is in some kind of mortal peril, so I go and investigate, and she's all "mrru?" like nothing ever happened.

Just stumbling through old links in my favourites, and came across this livejournal. I miss Io and Mortimer very very much, and am glad they haven't lost any of their quirks. Next time you're in town we should definately hang out, or perhaps next time I'm in Victoria. Cheers, I hope life's great for you right now.
