Kuske has become a complete hypocrite. okay, so more than before. I very destinctly remember him saying freshmen year that the reason we didn't stand with our toes apart was because some stood at a perfect 45 degrees while some end up too big or too small and it looks just plain messy. Now what does he want us to do? Stand with our toes apart

come on, kit...give 45's a chance...take my word for it..they rock! UofO does 45's...true that the cleanness may not be the total same throughout the band, but it'll still look alright...besides...it's soooo much easier to stand at 45's than with your feet together. You could stand in 45's all day, i swear...they're the awesomest.

It may be easier, but its not like it's hard to stand with your toes together. plus, your knees lock easier when you're at 45 which is exactly what you're not supposed to do. plus again, they make hyper extensions worse. If I had had to do my last move last year and end at a 45, i would have twisted my ankle trying to bend it out like that.

I find my knees lock more when my feet are together...and even if they don't, they hurt more, to me, straight than at 45's...but just give 'em a chance...really, all of us that did them at camp love them. :)
