Hypocrisy at its finest.

Latest e-mail from my Aunt Kathy, which she copied to my Aunt Carol. Yet I didn't send my previous e-mail (see previous entry) to Carol at all. So either Kathy forwarded her a copy or has no idea what Kathy's responding to. I bet on the former. This is pretty childish for a woman in her sixties:

Wow, your memory is as pathetic as your attitude ( Read more... )

I've been following your journal posts about this whole shebang, and I just have to say that I am actually stunned at the behavior of your aunts.

Even if you did upset them for whatever reason (not saying they have any real reason to be upset but you know..people get upset), they are handling the whole thing in an absolutely disgusting way. I mean name calling, old movie quotes, a gang mentality with the whole "I suggest you block her as well" line.. it is petty, childish, emotionally stunted behavior.

Family is about unconditional love. I don't see any evidence of that in anything they've written you. I'd say good riddance.

I'd be more than happy to tell her a lot of things, but she blocked me from her e-mail, lol.

Generally, I have no problems with religion. I just don't like it when people push their religion on me. Such as my cousin commenting on a facebook status of mine yesterday. This cousin being one of Carol's sons, surprise surprise. In response to me griping a little about my erratic sleep, he commented, more or less, "Seek the light of Jesus Christ, accept Him into your heart and he will give you peace and rest." You have no idea how much I wanted to tell him to fuck off. THAT sort of thing offends me. Pray for me all you like, but please don't push your beliefs on me. I have my own, thanks.

It's really true. People like my aunt Kathy, who claim to be Christian yet behave the way they do, like this, give their religion a bad name. I don't have anything against religion, but the majority of the people who are part of religion really aggravate me.

I love my internet family too! ♥
