exactly, but in terms of drug and medical device approvals, are totally different, even if the exact same products are used. There are specific rules about what can and cannot be used in commercial food production. On our dairy farm, one sanitizer we used was a chlorine sanitizer, exact same chemical makeup as chlorine bleach for clothing. We couldn't use chlorine bleach for clothing (because it was not labeled for cleaning milkhouse surfaces), even though it was the exact same thing. Actually, we could use it, as long as the dairy inspector didn't see it. Bleach was much cheaper than this cleaner, and exactly the same thing. We also used to fill the cleaner bottle when empty with bleach!
nope...you can buy all sorts of stuff for "veterinary use only", even certain drugs that are over the counter for animal use but not for human use. They are the same drugs, mainly antibiotics and various hormones, that humans use, except for animal use only. They still require sterile techniques, etc. You can also get needles, syringes, scalpels, and all sorts of things at this store. Veterinary use just means it is for animal health use only. "Prescription" products say "only for use by licensed veterinarians", although you can typically buy these from a veterinarian for legitimate needs.
been ok. A minor bout with pneumonia earlier this summer...now healing up from this. All is good. I'm still working on my dissertation slowly...hope to graduate sometime in the next academic year! You?
