We did the ceremony stuff then everyone ate, drank and danced the night away. Everything turned out even better then I had hoped for. And now we're off to Costa Rica for a few weeks.
"...But at least there's one moment of my entire wedding I will never forget; the look on my husband's face when I came down the staircase."
i know exactly what you mean .... whenever i go to a wedding, and the bride is coming up the aisle, everyone watches the bride. not me ... i love watching the groom. the look on his face is awesome ... i hope someone got a picture of him at that moment!!!
I hope so, we had a staged first seeing which was nice because when it came time for the actual ceremony I was a little calmer. All our formal portraits were actually done before all the guests arrived so it's kind of strange to know that when I get all the photos back I'll be looking at staged photos of us as husband and wife before we were actually married. My brother was really cute, he's not the emotional/sentimental type at all and he told me he always worried about who his baby sister would end up with but when he saw Tory's face and how he couldn't take his eyes off me he just knew I found a good guy.
There are not many days that pass where I don't feel at least a little of what I felt in that moment. That's when I knew that you were my forever girl.
Thank you, are there any special perks I'm not aware of yet? So far all I know is I have to have my husband's signature too on checks with both our names since we don't have a joint checking account yet. Cashing the wedding checks was a pain in the butt, they're still sitting in my wallet.
