I can’t remember the first time I am engrossed into the so-called anime fandom.
Well, my love and hate relationship starts off when I was in my teens. Set aside Doraemon, the first anime I watched is Rouroni Kenshin aka Samurai X via TV (yea, good old-fashioned way!). I love this anime very much because of the cool Kimura Kenshin that is turn out to be the legendary Battousai the Slayer. One would never think that he used to be this heartless violent samurai with his short figure and sweet personality. But I never got through all the episodes and I can’t even remember why.
Then, I got into Dragon ball, occasionally. I like the battle scene a lot and crazy over the top side kick/side character. But, it turn out I can’t finished watching it as it have ridiculously many episodes.
Then, I got into university; forget about all the anime stuff!!
So last year, I happen to get the chance to watch Yakitake! And Ouran High School, which I love both. Watching yakitakei makes me want to eat bread all the time. And I would always anticipate the judge’s reaction every time they have to test the bread. It is priceless!! I think Pierrot is my favourite character in Yakitakei!! And also yay! for Ouran. To have a host club in your school is the best!! I wish my school is like that!! That what is going to make we want to go to school everyday!! Hehe..
And now I think I am going to be obsessed with Naruto for a while. I know I am quite late on discovering this anime as it has been BIG for such a long time. Well, I never have any interest to watch it even my friends have been persuaded me. But thanks to my little bro, because of him I am attached like crazy for this anime.
Currently I am in between episodes 80-100, err… I think. I did not keep track of the episodes actually. I just knew I stopped at the point where Sasuke is leaving Konoha…..Well; I just knew he will leave sooner or later. There is just too much hatred in that boy body and it just impossible for him to be more powerful if he stayed in the Konoha. But it quite sad for me though, them (Naruto/Sasuke/Sakura/Kakashi) being in a team is <3
Oh, I think I have a crush on Kakashi-sensei. He is so cool, composed and I love it when he smiles. So cute. If only he didn’t hide his face all the time..darn!!
Well, the conclusion is, it is NOT too old to watch anime… I think anime brings out the little child in us. And it is a good thing, as everyday you struggle and handling adults that are sometimes are more childish than kids is stressful. So being in the anime fandom makes you forget…for a moment. And of course the humorous, Illogical plot and character that keeps you wanting more.Type your cut contents here.
But I think it is hazardous if you start to have dreams about all these characters during your sleep like me..yikes!! I think I am going to stop watching Naruto for a while..hehhe..
