That is one seriously long post. It's occupying 9 screens (ie page down 9 times) to scroll past it.

Very cool song though. Very rousing but I suppose that's kind of the point. I'm a big fan of the French Revolution. It was a fascinating time in history. Well history is cyclical (well fractal anyway) so perhaps we will see the July Revolution 2.0 at some point.

Yeah it is pretty long - I haven't yet mastered the art of snipping things and hiding them behind the link on LJ...

Well, you know what they say: "La révolution dévore ses enfants" the revolution devours its children... Always a cycle in motion.

I do think Robespierre meant well. And possibly some of the others too.
