Ha! I remember those people who were in love, but never admitted to dating until *way* late in the game. I was just remembering the other day when you and I caught them kissing through a window, and it was the most amazing thing *ever*. I remember that we had accidentally witnessed a passionate quick kiss that *no one* was supposed to see. That was a great night. Do you remember?
I know what you mean by remembering scents. I get it especially with old forgotten colognes mostly. I connect bad colognes with ex boyfriends on the street or some good colognes with my grandfather. And it will be weird because it will trigger this feeling in my brain like upset, sexiness, or safety. And I will be feeling this about a *stranger*, which will make me extremely uncomfortable.
Yes, i totally remember that night. i was thinking about that when i typed this entry.
Yep, i have the same thing w/ scents all the time. They always trigger some kind of memory or feeling, and it is often creepy when it's triggered by someone or something totally removed from the original context.
Well hello! Lovely to find you here. Hope you don't mind that I've added you as a friend. It was fun to have you out for roller skating this week. Hopefully more of that in the future? Take care, Kael
Well hello indeed. I definitely hope there's more rollerskating in the future! Preferably this very sunday. I had so much fun, i hadn't been skating since i was like 13 - next time i need to request some neneh cherry and it'll be a total flashback.
I don't mind at all that you added me - you're added as well.
I truly hope you don't mind the unsolicited post, but I saw you were interested in Stephin Merritt, among others, so I thought you might be interested in a feature in a new film and music culture magazine, Being There.
