For those of you who don't already know, I landed a new job at The Nashville Scene.
I'm excited and petrified.

I have the same old fears...I don't want to disappoint myself or others.

On the other hand, this might be the most creative atmosphere I've ever been lucky enough to work in.
Potential is sky high.

I'm looking for a new job.

I found out that Eric (not the Eric from the last entry) got married!

Well I missed the fireworks last year due to circumstances not in my control, but this year I did it my way. Eric and I started driving through East Nashville and found the perfect hill on Shelby where we could pull over, park, cross the street and have a birds eye view of the spectacle downtown. Good movie. Not for everyone, but good movie.
It definitely makes you think.

I'm dog-sitting a coworkers black lab for the next week.
It's very odd to have two dogs in the house again.

I wonder if we ever, truly get out of the holes we dig for ourselves.
Be it financially or even just the negativity we allow to permeate our lives.
I want to change my mindset.
Easier said than done, I know...but I have to try.
