Merlin 3x03: Goblin's Gold
Wow! What can I say? I loved this episode!! Everyone was there from Gwen to Sir Leon. XD And OMG the bestest thing evar: Merlin/Gwen and Arthur/Gwen scenes FTW!!! I couldn't be more happy. Maybe it wasn't entirely integral to the plot but it was all a good laugh. I will definitely be watching this episode again and again.
I'm kind of in shock. I mean Gwen was in more than just one or two scenes. This is HUGE. I hope they keep incoporating her as an ally to Merlin thoroughout the series.
G/A scenes were LOVE.
I actually liked the goblin. He was mischievous but he wasn't bad. And he was so truthful to Morgana. Glad to see someone tell her that he could see the evil in her.
Merlin shouldn't be opening supsicious boxes without asking questions though. I mean if I was in the library and saw a box moving with sounds coming from it...I think I'd go to the librarian to ask what it was all about before just opening it? He's lucky it wasn't something really evil. x3
ROFL @ Merlin slyly sneaking by the Librarian dude and covering up for his releasing the goblin by saying he found the book he was looking for. That was very cute Merlin.
Morgana asking Gaius for her sleep meds was hilarious.
Gaius: A sleeping draft? Can't you count sheep like everyone else? Why are you bothering me with such things. Shoo!

The licking gold thing was really gross. Haha...Richard was rather brilliant.
Goblin Gaius persuading Gwen to give him monies to prevent herself from getting boils was absolutely hilarious. It's too bad Gaius couldn't stay like that for a little bit longer. He's so much more interesting as the goblin. The goblin certainly adds a different dimension to him. LOL.
Oh man, my other favorite scene would have to be when Gaius was slapping all over Uther's head. ROFL. That was priceless. Seriously, do we really have to get rid of goblin Gaius?!? If you take away his pension for flatulence pranks...he's an alright bloke. But then again, I guess it would be a bit hard to move the plot along if there was Crazy Gaius walking around. I don't think Merlin or Arthur would have time to babysit him. Gwen might...LOL. Hey, it's better than her being stuck arranging flowers the whole day.
Ok. I admit it I laughed so hard at the flatulence scene. I'm just glad Gwen wasn't alone in the farting session. I was already embarrassed for her when she let out the first one. The look everyone gave her... ROFL. If I were her, I wouldn't have even looked at Arthur after being dismissed from the court. Gwen was friggin' BRAVE. Kudos to you my dear.
ROFL @ Gaius telling the Librarian guy "Lose some weight fatty." Oh man, so priceless. Seriously, Richard is so funny! x3

I'm not sure how Merlin was able to outrun the guards. He must be lightning fast though.
Love that the first place he thinks to go to is Gwen's house. Yay for the reignition of Gwen/Merlin along with Operation: "Kill Gaius"!
Their teamwork is so beautiful. They really need to engage in missions together more often...and frequently.
Gwen's interaction with donkey Arthur was adorable. Arthur trying to explain himself to her was so much laughs.
And then Gwen sharing all with Merlin was even more adorable. See writers? You must show us their friendship more often. It's so much more fun when you let Gwen be a part of the story.:D
The awkwardness at then end between Arthur and Gwen was soo cute, as well. Their embarassed faces were LOL.
Overall, like I said, I loved this episode. Great to see everyone show us more of their comedy skills. It was certainly a remarkable showcase by Richard. Now, to look forward to next week and all the possibilities that has in store. Looking forward to meeting Gwaine and seeing how his presence will stir Camelot.
