The only other person in the school (and what was then, my whole world) who seemed to know who Flora Chan was. Incredible person who made me fried rice that we ate in the demountables after a jpn lesson. Hello Kitty chopsticks?! Good times. ^-^

meeting you in year 9&10 IPT; talking to you about adultery (and that book, the title of which escapes me, but is about a woman in love with a man who can't have sex with her); listening to your ideas for your ee2 major work; your story (years ago now!) and I still remember your description of the almost-raining sky.

yes, we should. let me know when you're free post exams (yours, mine...), I really want to see The Constant Gardener and am determined to drag as many people as possible to also see it.

the description was in that story, when she's walking to her apartment I think? I remember something about the colours used to describe the sky - a reference to gold I think? and that it was about to rain. on the other hand, I could have totally hallucinated this memory, in which case you can totally refuse to talk to me for, oh, about five minutes. ;)

Where else but debating...where you were nice and patient and never lost your temper and I was always a domineering bitch because my nerves were always wound up so tight. Well, we bagged us the Macquarie Cup, so it was worth it.

And then of course there was 'Therese Raquin', which you compelled me to read. That means obviously that I am indebted to you forever.
