shihtzu linked to a website called Concerned Women for America. Being an ardent lover of Crazy Christian Bullshit, I just had to check it out. This was my favorite article by far:( Text behind cut )
yep, the chronicles of narnia is about christianity. anyone who says otherwise is lying to you, even if the book is all about coming out of closets.
It's nice to hear someone else say that. Seriously, both my mother and my in-laws have argued that Lewis didn't intend Chronicles of Narnia to be a Christian parable; that was just something "tacked on" after his death. What a load of crap.
I really don't care for Edmund (sp?) as a "grey" character. He seems shallow and simplistic; he darts spastically between good and evil and lacks any real depth or motivation. On the other hand, now I'll have to check out "The Screwtape Letters". That sounds pretty interesting.
haha i'd say that edmund's shallow simplistic nature is what makes him so darn realistic. darting back and forth between whoever can lend him the most favours and whatever.
