I picked up 3 new records recently: "Some Girls" (Rolling Stones), "Reggatta de Blanc" (The Police), and "Fly By Night" (Rush). Oh I love Rush! I have a CDR of about 200 MP3s that plays every day in my car (I have 2 hours of driving every weekday.. whee.. :) And 6 of those songs are from Rush (Tom Sawyer, Fly By Nite, Limelight, Closer To The Heart, Red Barchetta, Spirit of the Radio). I don't know about a change in music taste... I've always loved what they call 'Classic Rock', ever since college ('92). Rolling Stones, Bowie, Queen, Rush, BOC, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, etc. are some of my absolute favorites, and they constantly come up

LOL That's so cool that you like Rush! :) I've been a massive Rush fan ever since Junior High. ^_^ I also like most metal, particularly Megadeth. :) I don't mind rap music so much, mainly because one of my college roomates played it constantly and I became desensitized.
I don't think it's so much that I'm longing for the music of my childhood, though; I think my tastes are just becoming more refined. ^_^

Old School Rap is actually very interesting stuff.. not the trite crap they pawn off today. Fat Boys, Run DMC, Etc. (Pre Bling) ;)
