I will. It's just...I don't really need much in order to take care of myself. Whereas you will be out in a jungle...with those who may or may not be prepared. And with Sasuke out there as well.
Well... I guess, they're these winged guys, you know? In the first draft, they were tough, but you could handle them. A little tougher than regular people, but aside from the flying... not too bad. Especially since their weapons aren't so bad.
... but last time, they were a lot tougher. I fought one of the Elites and... well, I fought one. I'm kind of lucky to walk away from that one.
So even they have wings? Except that they are actual wings. That's interesting to read. But good, too, only if they can be killed by removing them as well.
Hopefully they won't be too much tougher this time around. Especially if this is a training camp.

[ And she kind of knows that. He never was one for being thorough in his preparations. Then again, everything seems to always work out for him. ]
Are you sure, Naruto-kun? Do you even have something to take care of...of insect bites? [ Because she's not so sure Shino would really truly help out with that unless it's a dire emergency... ] An-and back-up weapons?

Eh, insect bites can be all that bad! [Yes, he's quite serious about that. He's pretty confident in Sage Mode helping him out in the long run out there, too.]
And the only back-up weapons I need are my fists, and I can't leave those behind!

[ That gets a short chuckle out of her. ]
No... No, I suppose you can't Na-Naruto-kun. They are attached, after all. But still, you should take a few extra just in case. It never hurts to be prepared.
[ There's a reason why it's one of their shinobi rules. Just as there's a reason why she's actually attempting to maybe push the issue: because she isn't going and can't cover their backs out there. ]
I would appreciate anything that can be told. It doesn't need to be too in-depth as I would just appreciate an idea as to what they will be facing out there.

Hmmm...
[ There is a soft tap right before the tablet function on his journal activates. When Aether begins to draw, the changes are displayed in real time. They quickly take over the paper in a simple image accompanied by a detailed graph.
The image itself is a silhouette of a third party member; nothing complex, only the basic layout. The notes next to it are everything Aether learned during the last draft - their level of strength and mobility, the workings of their wings, the weapons they might be seen carrying. Even the Shifts he has encountered are listed, although he doesn't refer to them as such. No, the term Aether uses is "Song".
At the bottom of the page, is the list of effective counters. Stealth is crucial, terror and intimidation tactics are effective, projectiles are lethal and swordsmanship is useful. It's a level of understanding that betrays a veteran soldier, even if Aether cannot claim to be familiar with the term. ]
[ Such a drawing and notes are beyond anything she might have hoped to have come out of her question.
Next to some of his notes, are questions of her own. Mobility--would that also apply to a jungle and in trees? Songs--what is meant by that exactly, hasn't seen the term before. What could be considered a projectile by his standards. Questions such as those.
And very neatly at the bottom is written, "Thank you." ]
Yeah, just about. [ He's living with Master of Preparations: Shikamaru, so at least there's that much. ] A lot of being ready for these is just... being ready for them.
[ Mentally and all, you know. Annnd smiling. Nothing to worry about, Hinata-san. :< ] Shikamaru and I were out on the last one they put together, too- it'll be dangerous, but not the kind of danger we aren't trained to work in. And we'll definitely be watching out for Shino and Naruto, too.
[ She's more worried about Naruto than Shino. She knows Shino well enough to know that he won't do something crazy or unpredictable or both. ]
That's good to know... That you two know what to expect from this. And if it isn't going to be all that different from situations back home... Then I'll try not to worry too much about all of you out there.

Thank you, Hinata. For now, I am just making sure I have the proper equipment on hand.
