I think that red velvet cakes are quite like green beer ~ I don't think the color is worth the trouble - but then again, I've never eaten red velvet cake. I've come across vegan red velvet cake
that use beets & beet powder (which I have never seen anywhere)

I like vegan lunchbox - I made the fluffy vanilla cupcakes yesterday. ^-^

you're probably right about the red velvets. i had some and they were okay, i'm not so crazy about cream cheese icing.

oooh the vegan lunchbox looks good. i want to start making bentos but i haven't got any boxes and more importantly, i haven't got any nori. must get some.
