So. We had an earthquake that centered very close to my work. It made for a very exciting Tuesday. I felt everything rattle around while I debated on standing under a door way or just going outside. There really wasn't any damage, but it left a lot of people - who had never been in a earthquake before - wondering what the hell just happened ( Read more... )

I'm so glad you guys are safe and have a generator. Also, I HATE when government places are open for like 4 hours of the day. It's so inconvenient T_T Hopefully you will have more luck at another post office.

It's crazy with the earthquake and then hurricane right after that!
Those things don't usually happen in those areas, but then both happen at the same time. So weird.

I'm glad you and your family got through both safely.
Do you have your power back yet? Hope it comes back soon if not!

Oh you have food lion there too! I didn't know they had those in other areas!
