Mercedes Lackey is readable, but I don't find myself loving any of her stuff. It just doesn't inspire me or touch me like some other authors do.

I liked the first book. Lark and Wren I think? I wasn't so hot on any of the sequels. (And definitely didn't hold a candle to Sing the 4 quarters, heh)

That's so funny. I agree with you 100%. And I had also compared her to Tanya Huff and Tanya Huff just does it so much better.
