What did you think of TPC?

I liked it. Made me realize that TQB was mostly setting up TPC, though it was also a story in it's own right. Which I really liked. Don't know if that makes sense. Very often in series a book will be mostly setup and very little story, or every book will be a continuation of the one before. TQB reads as it's own story, the first part of the story, and as setup to TPC, which could probably read well even to someone who hasn't read TQB.

Couple of small things, though the only one I can remember right now...
Didn't really see the point of the whole Parnan encounter. There was no face off over it. It was like a setup for something that never happened.
