Well, they certainly did a great job on Discovery's second season, so I'm cautiously optimistic. If I'm remembering correctly, the director is an African American woman, so that's a step in the right direction. And I'm thinking that Patrick Stewart probably had a lot of say about what he would and wouldn't do. So I've got my hopes up! About the only "bad" thing is that Picard has pushed back season three of Discovery. :(

I gave up on "Star Trek" a while ago, but anything with Patrick Stewart has my immediate interest!

I've always loved Star Trek and have watched them all. Some, of course, I like more than others, but when Star Trek: Discovery began in 2017 and I read about the LGBTQ couple who'd be part of the crew, I signed up for CBS All-Access right away. It's been wonderful and I'm sure the new Picard series will be to! :)

All I can say is that Star Trek: Discovery has been EXCELLENT ... especially season 2 which just blew away a lot of people including me!

Picard is supposed to drop (on CBSAllAccess here in the States) right around the end of the year, so it'll be a great Christmas present!

I can't wait! 😍🖖
