These boobs serve a purpose!

It really saddens and sickens me that places like Live journal and now Myspace are banning pictures and profiles of nurseing women. Doesn't myspace have a lot bigger issues to deal with? Never mind that breastfeeding is a PROTECTED act.

breastfeeding, nurseing, myspace, breast is best

I agree that they have better things to worry about before breastfeeding pictures. Although I can't say I'm against them for being against the pictures. I personally would rather not see breatfeeding pictures regardless of how many people think it's a "beautiful" thing. I'd rather not see some woman pop out her boob in public but everyone had their own opinion though.

I'm not the type to just flash the public, but I was taught how to nurse without any breast showing. Personally, I don't really care one way or the other... but I get really upset when breastfeeding women are targeted for discrimination. And that's what I think this is.

Oh, I understand what you're saying and most woman don't just whip out their boob and start nursing. There are however a lot of woman who like to take pictures of it and post them on the internet and I don't think that's right. I'm glad it makes them happy to be able to give that to their baby, but at the same time, shouldn't it be a private and personal thing the two of you share? I personally don't want to see your boob. lol. Don't take offense to that, I didn't mean you in particular.

It's going to be a never ending battle though. Kind of like banning smoking in public places, ya know? You're going to make a lot of people happy and you're going to piss a lot of people off. OY!

Oh, I'm not offended. I just wanted to make sure you knew where I was on the spectrum. And now I know that you understand.

That's where I saw it first. Then I tracked down Rocks' profile, and joined the virtual "nurse in" that they started.
