i want to look into cooking with lavender. i think it's a nice light flavor.

My mother had an old hippie cookbook that had a really good lavender & lamb recipe. I don't know if you'd be able to find it, or something similar, online, but it might at least be a place to start googling.

Also, another small start: I have some lavender earl grey tea (this one to be exact) that's quite good. It's not "cooking" with it, but it's something.

Hope these might have been at least the tiniest bit of helpful ^__^;;

My intro to lavender as a food item, instead of just a potpourri, was a lavender shortbread. SO GOOD.

My mom makes lavender shortbread cookies... but they taste like potpourri...

they were from http://www.bramblewoodtreats.com/ and actually Lavender Ginger(forgot the ginger part) and OH SO YUMMY. i think i may have to try making some.
