Just testing to find out if I can still post on the grotty crap-ridden remnant of what used to be a fun journal.
(Unable to pay roubles for it so stuck with tacky ads; have lost favourite icons and can't post photos. But not a lot of people around here these days anyway, so it probably doesn't matter.)

Kinda how I feel, too, but I check in every so often to see what folks are up to, especially on the canteen. I think the people who are left on LJ have permanent/long term paid accounts so they don't see how bad it has gotten.

Oh, and there will be a Down the Chimney this year over on AO3, so you will have new stories to read soon.

Other than that, I hope you are okay and things going well for you.

Thanks. Mine was paid annually but Paypal stopped supporting LJ; then came the invasion.

Good to know you are still around. A lot of people have moved their main accounts to Dreamwidth because of Putin and cyber attacks. LJ or Russia was blocking cross posting from DW, so I haven't been doing anything here except reading and occasionally commenting.

I check LJ about once a week. I've been meaning to post a review of the summer and my two surgeries but can't seem to get my butt in gear to write anything too long. I do spend most of my time on FB now.

And I have a permanent account I bought many years ago so don't see ads. Still have the old format too.

The ads are bad enough, but it won’t let me post any new pictures unless I upgrade - and I couldn’t, even if I wanted to.

Hello sweet friend! I'm still here and still alive... not sure if you've seen my journal in the last year but I'm doing better these days. My arm is still a mess and my brain is not quite as sharp as it was when we spent time together. I don't plan on leaving anytime soon. If we've discussed this I apologize. With all this stroke crap going on in my head I often forget things I've talked about with people. (This seriously stinks)
