I... think I liked Toy Story 3 better than the first two. o_O

EDIT: If you have the opportunity, see it in 3D assuming 3D doesn't give you headaches. 3D might be in its infancy, but I thought it was really well handled for TS3: subtle and unobtrusive. It wasn't "OH HAI, LOOK AT US IN 3D" it was "whee story \o/"

the Claw omg ☆_☆ I did not see that coming and yet - so very right XD
I think what just... filled me with joy and glee and wonder was the amount of payoff they packed into this movie. Like, there were nods to both the previous movies, and running gags and...! I love continuity and... gah, the character development and devotion that went into creating this movie...
Woody just shone in this movie. He's always been the star but you could feel his experience and growth from the two previous movies (and the intervening years). It was so rewarding. &hearts
And I love Jessie to bits and pieces and Bonnie was too cute for words omg and she has my eyes and the ending was wonderful and happy/bittersweet and

Also everyone had freckles. I approve of freckles. Freckles are good.

I... can't ship anyone in these movies. :S (well... okay, Jessie/Buzz because the movie goes there but otherwise ^^;) I was six when the first movie came out and consequently.. yeah.
Although I have been in fandom long enough that I could see each and every of Ho Yay :P lol fandom.
But if you are in a shipping mood isn't it more fun to ship everybody y/y? XP
Ha, Sid. See I was thick and didn't pick up on him being the garbage man. O_O XD Oh Toy Story &hearts It's been too long since I saw the first one.
Andy. I don't know how they could have pulled off the toys revealing themselves to Andy and keep with the theme of the series thus far? Andy's kind of an everydude - he's not special because he has magical toys, he's special because he's gentle and fun-loving and has an incredible imagination. And is good with kids - d'aaaaawwwwwww that was so cute! There's a Wild Mass Guessing on tv tropes that he ( ... )

At least most of my beloved stuffed animals are still around. My sister (age 6 1/2) still plays with them, so I don't feel too guilty!
The ending though, the ending! ;_; I'll never throw another toy away, no matter how broken they are!

I heart on Bonnie so hard right now. She was just. Too cute. &hearts
(And I kind of loved that she wasn't another Helen Parr/Ellie/Jessie - don't get me wrong, I love them all to bits, but I was beginning to wonder if Pixar could do personalities other than Genki Girl.) I know, I know, Violet Parr, EVE, Molly, that lawyer car from Cars, Boo, the Queens/Princesses from A Bug's Life... I just... there hasn't been a Pixar movie yet where a girl was the central hero. You can do it Pixar! I believe in you!
I felt the end was perfect. Bittersweet but hopeful.
I just think of how much fun they're going to have with Bonnie. It makes me excited.

Should I see the second before the third eventually comes out here, too?

Really, the amount of... detail and continuity and love between all three films is heart-squiggling. You could watch the third without having seen the second but your experience would be so much less. Not that you would necessarily know you'd missed out.
But yes, watch the second and fall in love with Jessie! &hearts And giggle at Buzz. Oh Buzz. *giggles* XD
Oh Pixar, how to I love you so hard!???! *glee*
Oh! And if you have the opportunity to see it in 3D, I thought the 3D was really well done. Subtle and non-intrusive. Makes me very excited about the future of 3D.
