Before my mom was a Pre-K teacher, she was a landscaper. Which meant that I spent a lot of my early childhood being carted around to businesses and private houses, finding ways to entertain myself while my mom worked. I don't have many flowers in my garden this year. Last year killed the most of them... :P

Yeah, a lot of my annuals didn't do so well last year. My Mexican butterfly weed, which is so lovely and always attracts TONS of monarchs, didn't ever grow. As in, it was the same size at the end of the summer that it was at the beginning, and it usually grows taller than me. The native plants held up better--the coneflower was so happy it decides to reproduce all over the place . . .

I love the weird plant ;o) And I acree about the yarrow...the paprika is lovely!
