After watching the first episode of the new Emma adaptation, I couldn't resist making some icons :) Emma is not my favourite Austen novel, but I actually quite liked it - Romola Garai makes a good Emma (better than Gwyneth Paltrow at least), although I believe Mr Knightley will have to grow on me this time. I know I shouldn't be comparing Jonny Lee

awwwww...see, new Austen adaptations are the reason why I want TV. When will I get to see this? When it's out on DVD!!! grrr...

I didn't see it on tv either actually ;D Let's just say I've found an alternative way.. But you should really check it out once it's available on DVD. I've read quite some negative comments about it, but I'm enjoying it so far :)

oooooh I can't wait till it's on in the US. I've only seen the Gwyneth Paltrow version, so I'm excited for a new one.

You should really check it out when you can! I prefer Romola Garai's Emma to GP's portrayal ;D
