early HP revisited!

ABC-TV broadcast CoS tonight and I had to watch it. I hadn't seen HP#2 in several years, and what a pure pleasure it was to see it again! :-) I hope you do! You'll love it all over again! I couldn't stop smiling, laughing, holding my breath in suspense, even as I knew exactly what was coming. The story is that good, that totally engaging. It's no surprise that fanfic continues to flourish. We don't want it to end! And we want to have a part in its creation. I really think fanfic is the ultimate tribute to JK Rowling, in a way, even though we take her characters to places she never dreamt of.

I know what you mean, I feel like it's my duty too, when one of the films is on. But it's also my total pleasure, especially like tonight, when it's a film I haven't seen in quite some time. It was like coming to it anew and yet coming back to an old friend ( ... )
