Hahaha! I am flattered! I must have sensed something, because I was thinking of writing a lot last night/today, and even started fiddling with the next chapter of Scandalous this afternoon.
I am just sooooo rusty. Words used to come easily for me, and I now have to stretch my brain a little more to get something I am happy with. Too much science and not enough creativity recently! I have a lot of ideas and not enough talent. *le sigh*
As for something 'Burning,' well, I have the next chapter plotted and outlined. I guess I better get on it! I'm not sure why I've stalled on that project (besides obvious RL issues), probably because the next chapter is really epic, and challenging in a way that I've not done much in my stories. I need to come up with a way to introduce a ot of new characters vividly and quickly without being confusing or boring. It's got me a bit intimidated, I suppose.
Totally understand where you're coming from with those concerns! However, I must take issue with the "a lot of ideas and not enough talent" thing. Not true! One of my all-time favorite Dramiones is one of yours (I forget the title, Fievre de'la Amour?) The one about Hermione as a romance writer meeting Draco on the Riviera. Mmmm... :-) And as for "Burning"- that one's got me completely enthralled! So just jump in and start writing. You'll see, everything you're worried about will work itself out. :-)
