I think, if I can find it again, I'll be auto-locking all my old entries again. it's been a while since I've done that, I kind of feel like doing it again. Mostly because I've had a new idea for my general bloggery that I'd like to do--it's rather different from what I HAVE been doing... so I'd like to give myself the illusion of a fresh start

1. locking is a total pain in the butt, but worth it to satisfy the paranoia. I had to do it all by hand, and did it in phases of 3 month chunks. it wasn't so bad.

There's a feature somewhere that allows you to lock all entries at once, not one at a time. Or there was... I used it once when I went 100% friends only.

Omg.. there's a way to automatically lock them all? @__@ Please, please tell me how.

I remember a few years back when I one day decided I wanted everything private. I had to do it all by hand too.. It was a bitch.

Sure. Go to 'Edit Entries' and up at the top of that page there's a little thing about the Mass Security Tool. Click on that. Follow directions.
