Hey, how the hell did you get a job that easily? I have been looking for 3 months with absolutely no luck, let alone a job that has all those things. What is the job? Do they need more people, because those are exactly the hours and days that I am trying to get as well...
As to moving, Sam and I moved to an area about 5 minutes from Guildford, on 108 and 148th. It's a nice little residential area. I would love to come out to an event, I really miss getting to see everyone and getting dressed up and dancing etc. Feel free to give me a call anytime. 604 584 8083...Odette

Luck? I actually wasn't looking. I know, just what you want to hear. It sort of fell in my lap. It's a print shop in Vancouver and I don't know if they need others or not. There were two shifts, morning and afternoon. I was hired for the morning shift, but am still on probation for a month. Seems there is no room for error at this place and if you don't "fit" then you are let go. I'm already vying for the position with another person who was hired a week before me. A bit daunting I must admit, but I guess that is the reality of the working world.

I used to live in Guildford. Have you considered the temp agencies?

There is an event this weekend in Maple Ridge. Why don't you come out and meet some new people? I'll be there and can re-aquaint you with people. It's a bit short notice though.

I would love to go but we are having our friends that helped us move over for dinner on saturday night as a thank you. Next event that is here though for sure. Are people good about helping others with rides here? Just incase Sam doesn't want to go and I still don't drive. If you hear anything about a job that doesn't necessarily require skills already in place and is willing to train you but wants wicked customer service let me know will you?

It's a print shop in Vancouver so I have an hour commute to work and an hour back. I'm planning to take the West Coast express in so I'm kind of jazzed about that. Caitrin has room for the boys in her family care group and has given me a really great price for the pair, especially since Zach is special needs. I am totally blessed to know her.

What else, it's 8-4 for now, but will probably be 7-3 once I can work on my own. Evenings, weekends and holidays are clear. I've never had a 9-5 before. I've always done weekends and holidays so this is very new.

No computer for me it's all manual work. Dealing with paper and photocopiers, collating and preparing mail orders ect. Totally up my alley. I'm on a month probation, so we'll see how I fit.

Our event schedule has altered somewhat. I get off too late to attempt any 10 hour drives now. An Tir West war is not an option anymore and May Crown will see us arriving very late. So...there is that aspect of it all. Either you have money and no time, or time and no money. Where is the happy ( ... )
