I say upgrade to level 2 for now. It will still be miles faster than it is now right? When I upgraded I didn't' notice it being so much faster but I do think my upload/downloads are quite speedy and I wouldn't want to chance them slowing down as I've been dl-ing quite a lot lately. The internet is an amazing place! :) Over here the companies have deals, maybe you could see if they will be running a deal anytime soon. Like 3 months free at the new speed or tell them you are thinking of switching and maybe they will give you a deal. That is what I did. I pay so much money for cable and digital cable and my dvr and my speedy internet, but you know what, it makes me happy and its what is important to me so I don't regret it. So if going for the full speed would make you truly happy and you wont be made to eat crackers, then I say DO IT! :)

They've got deals over here as well. They always have this 3 or 6 months halfprice thing, but that's just for new customers. I think I asked like a year back if one also gets that if one upgrades and back then the answer was no. Might just have to try again. Or threaten switching :) Although, they are sort of offering the best deal at the moment and while others have bitched endlessly about the quality of the service, I've never actually had problems.
And I was just going to say how I don't pay for cable until I remembered that why yes, I DO (it's included in the rent) and I'M NOT EVEN USING IT. I'd better get me that HDTV soon (although I've heard that two of the major/cooler channels just cancelled their HD service because there wasn't enough interest. TF?)

I just realized something about downloading. This morning I am downloading a movie and 1 300MB part was on mega (where I have a paid account) and it took 6 minutes to dl! The other part that is also 300MB on sendspace (that I don't pay for) looks like it will be over an hour once its done. That is a HUGE difference!
I only have about 12 HD channels and that's including the sports onces that I won't go near. LOL So I'm not truly using my tv to its fullest right now. But even just the flat screen part of it is nice for all channels.
Heh, I'm pretty sure you last important poll was knitting label names! :P
And *whooosh*! That's most of that internet speed stuff going over my head. My favourite part are your poll options, which are cracking me up! And heh, I would want to be your neighbour, but that's more so we could just have like fangirling holidays all the time! :D
Heh, and I still haven't ordered those knitty labels. But then again, knitting has sort of depressed me lately because the one I'd been working on turned out completely crappy. Will have to start something new at some point.
Heeeee! Well, now that I have ordered the super fast internets, you're welcome to move in and use it :) OH MY, IMAGINE THE FANGIRLING HOLIDAYS! Like, every evening when I get home from work, I'd have this super fangirly nights to look forward to. We could have themed evenings. Like Thursdays would be Lost days, where we would eat airline food or mangoes or pasta (that came in a Dharma box). And then we could have The Office days (Office Olympics, PB&J sandwiches). COME ON! GET YOURSELF ON A PLANE!
Also, because sadly, there was no cup and saucer picture! And ha, oh yeah with the knitting denial. Was that one completely rejected?

It actually sounded sort of worth it, given how much you d/l, and for the amount extra you were paying [heh, she says, trying to sound knowledgeable] HAHAHAHA, it amuses me greatly how quickly you jumped on that bandwagon! :P And should I be at all disturbed by how quickly you came up with those themed nights?! :P HA. But so awesome. Clearly I'll have to do another hemisphere trek... and then kick your neighbours out!
