Isnt it funny how people cry at movies but not at a funeral for their grandparents? I find it remakable that everytime i watch a movie that makes me cry, i can attach to the emotions that person, even though their fake. They are made up people dying or getting hurt, and i can attach to them but when its my ( Read more... )

I'm kinda the same way. I've only had one person die in my family, but I wasn't really sad about it and I didn't cry, but I've been to the funerals of 2 people I barely knew and cried. I think the reason it's easier to cry for people that aren't related because in some ways, it's like watching a movie. It sounds awful but it's true, you're on the outside. But the thing is, not everyone deals with death the same way so crying isn't necessarily the only thing that shows you care about someone and you're not very open with your emotions anyway, so it's ok
