Actually looked a lot worse from where I was standing. There were bits of Elantra all over the road. As far as I could tell the engine compartment was gone. But it apparently isn't. Most of the impact was on Dani's side, which leads me to believe that he hit us just as we started the turn which lines up with what I have in my head as far as the sequence of events.
