odd feelings

some times u think life is boring, sometimes u think its fantastic and u think of all the luck u have, i just wonder why i always have to second think that and wonder when all those good times of that day and previous days are going to end. Why can happiness last forever, i wish it would. I wish all the negative thing i deal with and other people

Parents and phone calls

Don't feel bad. My parents live on the other coast (Seattle). My mom, would habitually call at 9pm on Sunday (6pm their time) because, way back when, long distance rates were cheaper.

Anyway I suppose she thought I was sitting by the phone just waiting for her to call. Unfortunately I have a busy life and sometimes 9pm on a Sunday is not the most convenient time to talk. Whenever I didn't answer the phone she'd leave a nasty message. If I answered the phone and asked if I could call back, she'd send me a nasty e-mail (why she can't e-mail me other times I'll never figure out). I can't win for trying, so I started calling them in the middle of the week.

Not sure if she got the hint, but lately she's been calling on Saturday nights. However I still detect a nasty tone when I have to cut her short in the middle of the same conversation we've had for the past six months about the "skinheads" living nextdoor.

What's worse is when they come to visit.
